welcome pamela - thanks for circulating dr yunus book and dvd10000 round africa- could you make a list of african communities that you are connected with in this or other ways; I am hoping many networks will meet up in kenya and what is intended to be the best ever microcredisummit now there is a lot of good community up models to celebrate around africa ; this also interconnects with mostofa's main intercity network project this year 09/10 with dr yunus which is connecting the 5000 youth ambassadors most likely to be of lifelong pursuit of micro up and sustainability investment franchising

pamela I should have added that I wish we could map a panel of people who most care to explore micro up by different african countries; in my mind I have you registered as Nigeria along with your trusted networkers John Dada at fantsuam -pioneering gender and youth-based microfinance - and caroline ifeka- Rural Empowerment Initiative West Africa; peter burgess and I have met thompson of ippa who was africa's only contributor to the book -lessons from the poor- triumph of the entrepreneurial sprit - thompson runs a peoples reearch institute out of lagos which is a must visit (imo) if anyone's passing through- in spite of its title the book he contributed to is not written my microcredit networkers and I believe its true to say that thomsposn researches what does and doesnt work with micro models as applied in nigeria- his institute's aim is I beleive transparency of information and hub for citizen dialogues
